The minimum age for Hertz rentals in Portugal is 25 years of age* for all vehicle groups, with the following exceptions:

(C6) Mercedes C220 Cabriolet or similar

(E6) Mercedes Class E SW or similar

(F6) Mercedes S-Class or similar

(Q6) Mercedes V250 or similar

It is however, possible to rent all vehicle groups from 21 years on payment of a young driver surcharge of € 14.76 (including tax) per day, € 103.32 (including tax) per week with a maximum charge of € 147.60 (including tax) per rental.

 

Please note that the young driver surcharge is not available for the excepted vehicle groups mentioned above.
